Working with Justice-Involved Women from a Trauma-Informed Approach

Females have different pathways to crime than men. It would only make sense then that their pathways to change would be equally unique. In this course, you will learn about characteristics of justice-involved women, their unique risk and need factors, and considerations to improve the likelihood of justice-involved women being successful on supervision. This course is applicable to probation and parole officers working in adult community supervision agencies. DSM™ and DSM-5™ are registered trademarks of the American Psychiatric Association.
